I used to grow up in a beautiful facility where I was with my mother while she worked. Then, at age 6 I knew I wanted to help people just as I watched her do. The relationships she grew with these people were beautiful and she knew she was needed. I became a caregiver at age 17. I studied and received my CNA certification and started working doing what I love. I love to help my residents do things that they fill they can not complete on their own. I have worked with many different types of people and know that patience and compassion are the two most helpful things when dealing with my residents. I know that I will do everything I can to go above and beyond for the people I care for.

I have been a CNA on and off since 1993. I enjoy the home health aspect of patient care. I live in Lawton, and along with home care, I also have skilled/longterm care, assisted living, memory care and palliative experience. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I also have state qualifications for activity and social service directing. I love being a CNA. It's the most rewarding job I have ever had, second only to being an at-home mom years ago.

Caregiving has been a passion since I was a younger girl. I always used to help my grandmother with alot of things around the house. As I got older it just became something that I've loved. I love the gift that I have been blessed with. What I enjoy the most about this industry is knowing that my patients will love the way that I will cate for them. I don't see them as patients, I see them as family. When I'm working, I'm making sure that I treat them the way that I'll want to be cared for. I love what I do. I worked in a nursing home before moving to Oklahoma as a cna and I would still like to help individuals in need. As of right now I work three days a week. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. The rest of the week I'm available to help where I'm needed.
