I am a caring and loving person who enjoys helping others. I have been in the healthcare field for 10 years and am currently pursuing my RN BSN. I was a wellness assistant at an assisted living residence where I became attracted to being a caregiver. I then became a Rehab Tech at an LTACH which further secured my desire to care for others. I most enjoy the relationship and trust I develop with the clients. My most proud achievement was assisting the therapist with treatment of a TBI patient and seeing all the hard work we endured pay off with the patient walking in the doors of our faculty when the level was dependent upon arrival to the hospital.

Good with elders, cleaning and organizing is my best skill. Basic medical knowledge is known. I'm home health certified, spent last 5 years dealing with a client that really needed a nursrying home. But those were his wishes. To this day he's still alive!!

I have a passion for putting others first and it is the most rewarding thing a person can do but the reward is not the motivator behind my choice to be a care giver, I enjoy what I do. what I like about caregiving is the fact that am able to provide care for my client and the smile on their faces shows satisfaction. I like to put 100% on my job and at the same time sense of humor, laughter means so much to me.

I have been a caregiver in LTC facilities for over 10 years and I have come to the conclusion that if you can keep your loved ones at home, then we should come to them. So I decided to leave that and start working for people from home so they can stay home. I've taken care of younger people, not kids, and of course all the way up to end of life. The experience I have could be great, I just don't want people to have to resort to putting loved ones somewhere where they have care. Let's make that be home more often! I love taking care of others and helping them achieve their goals. This is why I became a caregiver in high school and I have never stopped. I am a great caregiver because I started developing the interest while taking care of my father who became sick for a long time and it was me an my mother who where taking care of him. After he passed away I decided to take up this profession so that I can help other people who need help like my father and make a difference in peoples lives that is what I love most with this job. I do my work diligently and my clients end up treating me like family members and a friend. I enjoy listening to my clients testimonies of how much I have effected their lives in a positive way and to me that is a great achievement. I am a passionate and caring person that wants to help in any way I can. I have been in the optical field for my entire career. It was recently last year when I lost three members of my family, including my mother. I was at each passing and did the day to day health care. It was those three circumstances that led me here. If I can in any way, help ease the pain of both the family and the patient, I know by experience, how valuable and cherished it is.

I'm a very caring , compassionate , patient individual and have been a medical assistant for 20 years , doing in home care for 7 years , I've found it to be a very rewarding job , by helping others get thru their day and making it a brighter , comfortable day each day for them while being able to stay in their own home makes me proud of what I do and gives me great pride helping others , for the past 3 years I've taken care of a woman with dementia and renal failure when it came time to start dialysis i trained to administer her treatments at home for peritoneal dialysis treatments that I performed daily 7 days a week for 3 years I was committed to her and would do it again that made me so proud to have been her care giver
