I became a CNA in 1997 when my aunt was in a nursing home. I saw all the folks that needed love and care and thought I would give it a try. Well 2014 I am still a caregiver and can not imagine doing anything else. I have worked in Long Term Care, Home Health Agencies , Group Homes and private duty. My favorite being private duty with one on one care. I love helping people with their everyday needs and try to put some spice in their life by taking them out or offering fun activities in the home. I am willing to travel away from home, currently all my clients are in Centre County.

Hello! My name is Edyn and I am originally from Altoona, PA. I am currently in my senior year of nursing school at IUP and will be graduating in December of 2020. I plan to become a Labor and Delivery nurse one day after graduation. I am very dedicated to this field and I believe I have a very warm heart. I am empathetic and can truly advocate for my client's health and well-being. I care for each of my clients as I would want my own family to be treated. I am a 20 year old mother of 2 babes ( I know, crazy!) I would prefer to work day shift but am open to anything. I have 3 almost 4 years experience in home care and I have my own vehicle, insurance, etc. I am really easy to get along with and I love people.

I'm at time in my life where I'm ready to give back. I've learned over the years that if people can stay in their own home they tend to live longer. If I can help people with the little things that means the world to them. I've spent some time with my Uncle with on set dementia just helping them out and I enjoyed every minute.

I am a great caregiver because I treat my clients as my own family. I am a great cook and housekeeper. I love caring for people. Being able to help people as they age and help the family. I've been able to help three patients not need help anymore and be able to live a life by self again.
