I have always had the desire to help individuals to live a more rewarding life. It is a wonderful feeling to take away someones pain/ worries/ problems. I have cared for and raised five children and worked caring for people in multiple settings for over 25 years. I am on my own again and have relocated to my hometown of Somerset to start fresh. I am anxious to reconnect with the area and love caring for individuals on a one on one basis. Having been an RN for many years, I would very much love to care for people in their homes and treat them as family. I would like to be the extra pair of arms we all need from time to time. Helping people in their homes , for one on one care that most do not receive in a nursing facility. I am also CPR and first aid certified. I am also a med-tech, and diabetic trained and certified. I enjoy the company and getting to know new people.

Being a caregiver is more then assisting you're client/friend is comfortable and cared for in their home. Its about being there for them to lift their spirits up, to have someone that cares about their needs & someone that is there threw it all. I have over twenty five years of experience working with the elderly, special needs, and those in need. I am a certified medical assistant. I have provide personal care to over forty clients privately in their own home. I am compassionate, hard working and dedicated. Caring for others is my passion, it brings my great joy and satisfaction to see the faces of those I care for. I am reliable and committed and I know how important it is to be on time and do what is expected of me. I love to cook and clean and I can run errands needed. I have always been a single parent and I have raised a great son who is graduating this year and going on to college and he is my greatest achievement! I am a caregiver because I love taking care of people and helping them in any way I can. I get fulfillment out of assisting others and helping them reach their goals or even just assisting them in something they cannot accomplish completely on their own. I prefer private inhome care, ive done private care for families since i was 20 yrs olds , i have 25 yrs experience. I enjoy helping other. I learn quickly how the patient likes things and times they like to get up in morning to begin their day and when they end going to bed to watch their favorite tv show before going to sleep.
