I am a hard working women, I am very understanding and I love getting the job done. I have great people skills my work ethic is incredible. I love meeting new people and seeing new faces when working I aim to make everybody and everyone comfortable while working with them at any work place. I have great communication skills if something goes wrong I immediately ask questions, I go straight to the source. I work hard and I make sure I always do and get my job done regardless of anything.

I kinda always was a caregiver and didn't know it. Both of my parents worked and I was much older than my step brother and sister, so I did all the house work and taking care of them from an early age. I also grew up with my aunt who was a spastic quadriplegic, so I learned how to do a lot there. I have had many patients, most were the ones everyone else had bad trouble with. I'm kinda the guy, that I can handle pretty much anything from full Dementia, to full quadriplegic. I have my state license in CNA, ACNA, and Phlebotomy. I have excellent experience and very good references. The last question that I am proud of is: My mother was passing in the hospital and couldn't have her placed in a home. So I brought her home with me and kept her alive for another month before she passed away with me. At the end she had full blown dementia, it was quite an ordeal to go through. So with that experience it has taught me a lot of what other families could be going through.

Im sierra! Im 23 years old and currently working my way towards nursing school. I have 10 years experience of babysitting and 6 years experience of elderly care sitting. I have been responsible for companionship, feeding, bathing, meals and medications. I am CPR and basic health certified. I have completed CNA and Phlebotomy certification classes as well.

My personality traits are I'm a good listener,and a caring person.Im also willing to go the extra miles to take to care for my patient. What attracted me to being a care giver, assisting a patient to get a shower or to help feed him is the best ward knowing you made a difference in helping a patient.I enjoyed helping with ROM because thats important part of being a caregiver.ROM helps with blood flow and it also helps with stress,and he knew how to do the exercises without me telling him.I could just back and assist him if need that's the best ward seeing him being able to do it by himself that's one of my best achievement.

Hi, I'm Ashley , and love working with elders.. it is my passion , and it all started when I was asked to help care for my grandma with Parkinson's , I worked with her for 4 years full time and she encouraged me to do nursing school, but between having 2 kids , ages 9 and 6 nursing school is not in the cards , I am very outgoing , and love to listen. I am caring and patient. I love doing the CNA side of the work , I also got my certification for phelbotomy and medication aide.

My name is Jennifer Wenninger. I have done caregiver work on and off for the last 20 years or so. I started out as a CNA at a nursing home. I continued as a CNA for about 10 years. The last three years of my life I have worked with adults with disabilities at an ADS in Wisconsin. I have recently relocated to NC. I feel as though a caregiver is what I was meant to do in life. I have completed 2 years of college towards my dream of becoming and RN. I would love to continue being a caregiver and eventually continue my path of becoming an RN. I have a kind heart, and I am a fast learner. I have the ability to sense when something is going on with an individual even when they are unable to speak. I believe this is something that is necessary when being a caregiver. I love to make a difference in peoples lives, and make someone smile at least once a day. A smile is worth a thousand words. One of the things that sticks out in my mind the most as a somewhat personal achievement happened at my last job. I had a client that started at the ADS I was employed at. We were given a write up of some of the things that may work for her behaviors. Within a years time I was able to bond with this client and was able to make her more functional in daily living. She was able to go out into the community and not have a melt down, something she was never able to do her entire life. She learned to trust me and we became friends. We had mutual respect for one another and progressed every single day.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping others. I enjoy being a caregiver because there are so many people out there that I can help and helping others brings me joy. I am proud to have accomplished loosing weight and gaining control of my eating and dieting habits. It has been over five years and going strong with the new lifestyle that I have found. I am an empathetic, patient and compassionate person who through my 15 plus years experience as a caregiver and my 10 years as a mother have learned that there is nothing too extensive or out of reach that I would not try to do to help even the least of these. I love what I do!
