Hello, I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 20 years. Hi Everyone ! Let me start by saying why I became a caregiver. I chose to become a caregiver back in high school when I realized being a nurse is what I want to become. I have seen many patients either not receiving the correct care or being mistreated , I said to myself one person can't do it all but I can change someone's care they are receiving. Plus many others I will encounter in the future. I think what makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I treat the person as if they were my parents or family members. I take my time with understanding their needs. I treat my patients with respect & love. I enjoy working with the many different types of patients & their needs.
