I am very caring and compassionate about caring for others. Caring for elderly in specific made me want to be a caregiver because of taking care of my grandmother. I enjoy being able to give great care to all clients and being able to interact with different people. I am most proud of myself for being a first time college graduate in my family. My name is Penny Driggers. I am a mother of 4 amazing teenagers and have been working with families for 13 plus year's. I am very passionate about what I do and love every moment of taking care of loved one's . I have worked in home and also many facilities with dementia residents and more. It has been my pleasure to be able to help the one's in need with all the everyday activities of everyday life. The best part of what I do is the bond you build with the loved one and their family which makes it so worth the hard work that goes into providing the best care that is needed.

I enjoy the ability to help others, to gain knowledge form the elderly. I became a caregiver a few years after my grandmother was put in a nursing home. I saw the love and compassion she received and this inspired me to want to help the elderly and disabled. I got my CNA when I was 18 and my EMT when I was 20. I am proud to say I have helped an number of sweet people and they in turn have taught me so much. As a mother of two children, I want to show them that loving, caring and respect of all ages, ethnicity will make this world a better place.

I came about this field due to taking care of my grandmother who passed away from liver cancer in 2007. I became a caregiver after my mother passed away from breast cancer and Ive been doing it ever since, seeing my mother in that condition was very hard and I feel like if I can help someone else in anyway possible I will do just that.

I am a 25 year old young lady who enjoys the simple things in life like seeing the sun shine brightly everyday or spending time with family while watching a comedy movie and pigging out on pizza. I love the beach and reading. I currently reside in Summerville, SC but I am a California girl at heart. I am also a hard working student at Trident Technical College. I do not currently have any children but I do enjoy them. I sometimes smile uncontrollably so be careful because it can be contagious!
