My name is Heather Stewart. I'm 31 years old. I am a married mother of four. 16,11,9,7. I am also a caregiver for my mother, have been for 7 years now. She has Copd/Empyhasema. I know how to do oxygen portables and concentrateors,bi-paps, and nebulizers. I live in Lynchburg Tennessee. I did some time in the Army National Guard. I love and am very passionate about being a caregiver. I have worked in both in home health and facility. I love knowing that at the end of everyday I made a difference in these clients lives. I never knew my grandparents so it's like having another chance.

I am a great caregiver because I first learned how to be one by helping my parents and my brother. They had certain disabilities, both physical and mental/psychological, that touched my heart and helped me realize the importance of quality of life to everyone, not just to those who are healthy. Then, I achieved 89 credits towards my BSN (bachelors degree in nursing) and graduated with honors in Surgical Technolgy from Tennessee Technology Center, First Aid at MTSU, and am a licensed CNA and am CPR/BLS certified, and have a Leadership Award from St. Thomas Hospital. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA/PCA and am looking to work part-time to possibly full-time for someone who has the need for home health and/or caregiver needs. I have excellent references and take my work seriously!

I have worked as an L.P.N. nurse for 22+ years. I love the elderly. I have over 40 hours of continuing education in Alzheimer's/dementia training. I am looking for a different channel to use my skills instead of Nursing Homes or hospitals.

I became a caregiver because I want to help others in need it's never easy watching a loved one get older but it's easier to have someone there to help with daily task while still keeping there dignity I have worked with Alzheimer's in hospice patients for the last 3 years and enjoy working with the elderly

My name Shetiga, I am a mother of 6 children and have been a care provider off and on for the past 9 years, I enjoy helping others and making them feel cared for and loved as I would want my family to feel when they are in need for a care giver. I love talking to others and learning about life experiences which is something we all can learn from with one another. When I was younger I know I would want to be a care provider for others, helping with the daily routines of every day life, during my younger teen years I helped take care of my grandfather and my great aunt then when it come time for my mother needing someone to care for her I was there, from giving meds to bathing, when I care for someone I do it as they are my own family, seeing them happy is my goal and to knowI have made that persons day when they smile, or tell me they love me before leaving and going back to my own family at home makes my heart smile.
