Growing up being the oldest of 6 siblings I had to be the caregiver due to my mother working long hours as a nurse. In my adult life I've had many jobs but no fulfillment until I started caring for others. I found my purpose and calling. I truly enjoy/ love being a caregiver it brings so much joy and self gratification. My mother played a big part of why I love being a caregiver. seeing the love, she gave, and the return love played a big roll. It feels good to know that I have gained a client trust as well as the assurance that I will take care of them. To see them smile or just help them through a rough day knowing that they can count on me is a great reward. I've had a client I had just started with ask me, is this just a job or do you care? I care about what I do. This is one of the biggest questions that a client or family member has when looking for a caregiver. Staying positive, going beyond the call of duty, compassionate, caring, outgoing, patience, etc. To have the opportunity to care for your loved one or self would be a privilege and a blessing.

Hello my name is Keiara Robinson, and I'm from West Memphis, AR. One of my best personality traits is the fact that I'm goofy. I can literally make a joke out of bread and that's what makes my patients care about me the most because I can be myself. What attracted me to being a caregiver was taking care of my grandmother as my first client. I made such a big deal in her life and I wanted to do the same for others. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is that I still get to do everyday life things but with my patient. A personal achievement I'm proud of is learning to be my own person and not overthink about what others think.

While reporting to seniors love ones if there is any changes to seniors care or living conditions. This gives families a peace of mind and a sense of security. I'm a wife and mother of 4 ,who also has a parents and grandparents, whom taught me to always treat elders with respect as if it was my own parent or grand parent. I always treat my clients or patients with tender loving care as if they were my own.

My best personality trait is caring for everyone around me it humbles me and it makes me good at my job.
