I really enjoy helping the patient comfortable in their own space. My grandfather and the way he was treated in a nursing home. He just wanted to be at his home. Helping my patient feel comfortable and relaxed. Letting him or her tell stories about the past,love,kids, what it was like in the old days. Being there for them when they need me most. Making them feel useful and they do matter

I've been caring for elderly for about 15 years. Started with my grandma and having her tell me thank you so much and being appreciative of the small things I would do to make her smile did it for me. That's when I grew the passion to care for others. I love taking care to elderly as if they were my grandparents. I always make sure I give it that extra 110%!

I like being a care giver since 1997.. since I use to take care of my grandma. I like helping other family who don't have none to help them that's why I like being a caregiver. My personal achievement are that I took classes to be a CNA as will and I also got my CPR . An have work as a CNA years ago and work as provider for many years as will. I have been in healthcare some way, shape, or form since I was 15. I started off in a nursing home in the kitchen, went to work at a group home for developmentally challenged individuals, then I moved to a memory care unit while I resided in Florida, and now I work in emergency services as a dispatcher. I love helping others the young and the elder. I try to keep a happy go lucky spirit about me at all times. I was raised by grandparents and at early age I had to learn how to care from them.
