I Octavia Snow become a caregiver because I enjoy working with the seniors providing care and companionship. The things I like about being a caregiver is that I learn different backgrounds, love hearing their stories and they can teach you different things by just being a great listener. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is that the seniors brings joy to my heart. I'm a mother of 1 son.
I took care of my mother in-law for a year after she had a stroke and fell. I just like taking care of the elderly. What I like the most about being a care giver knowing that I'm helping the families that work and need a break sometime. It's a hard job to take care of a loved one by your self.
I've worked in home health for 8 years and one thing I've found is you have to get down to their level as far as personality. My grandmother was a CNA in the hospital and ive always said I want to be a nurse. Seeing a smile on my patient's face or alook that that feel better but can't say it or the feeling of going home after work km knowing you helped somebody is all the enj ok payment in the world. My personal achievement is becoming a CNA and working in the hospital I really learned a lot in the hispital.
I became a caregiver because of the older people in my neighbor when I was growing up. I took care of them until they all pass away a couple of years ago. I enjoyed helping them do their daily activity and being there for them just to be company to them. What I like about being a Caregiver. Being there for the client, letting them know that I care for them and they are not alone or by themselves. When my grandmother was in her last days of life. I was there for her like she was for me when I came into the world and when I had my children. She took care of me until the time was right for me to be on my own. I stood by her side until the time was right for her to die. I felt that I had did a job well done for her like she did for me. I am a caring, compassionate person. I have 5 children 4 boys and 1 girls. I live with my 77 year aunt who is still working a part time job. I work at a Healthcare Center . I have been there for 4 year and a CNA and since 2010.
what make me a great caregiver working in this field i care about my clients and i was call back by clients because the familys would say im great with there family member it all ball down to beening the best i can be in this field and caring for the client and there well being and getting the client back on the feet to some independence thats the goal i like to achive when im working with the client number one goal helping the client and getting the client to some of they indepdence back why i like the field as i was growing up i told my mother i wanted the be a nurse i feel in this field im happy by helping out the elder
