I'm 27 I have a special needs brother

I have been doing in home senior care for 2+ years. With a local company. I care for my Mother on all post-op situations. I also give her support care weekly. I have just completed the AR CNA course testing out at: 100%+5 written, and 99% clinical. I will test with the state soon. I am out going.l, Self- motivated, and am a stickler for the rules and proceedires. I am most proud of my ability to connect with and advocate for residents/clients.

People tell me I'm very patient, and kind . I Ike to joke around and help the elderly because they're just like you and I, they have feelings and aspirations too. I beleive everyone should have an equal opportunity.

I have a passion for helping others. I have worked in the medical feild since 2005. I have a full time job now just looking for some extra spend cash. I have one daughter who is 13 and my pride and joy.

I am an easy going person. I am very patient and try my hardest to help. I mived in with my grandparents to help. I have experience working with people who have suffered from a stroke, diabetes, working with diets, cooking, cleaning the house, and running errands.

Caregiving is just in my nature. I moved from Colorado to Arkansas to care for my cousin who was in desperate need of care. I went to the Schmieding Center in Springdale for training, which is supposed to be the best school in the country at one point in time. That schooling made me much better at caring for the needs of others. I love to feel genuinely appreciated. Nothing gives me greater self-worth than knowing I'm helping someone who needs it. I'm always very happy when others notice and compliment me on the work I do!

Life has a funny way of going down a different path than we thought it would. I hope that has NOT happened to you. However, that is what life is all about. For me, I spent my youth studying and working very diligently and actually succeeding to master my goals and dreams. There isn't enough room to tell you all the things I accomplished. I will bullet point some of them. However; when it was time for me to start a family I knew what I needed to do was to put my career aside and give my all to my children. My best training has come from being a mother. I have two wonderful children. Both have special needs of some sort. I can honestly say that you can do your best to plan for everything; however, in life, we all need a helping hand.
