I would like to say I am very outgoing, self driven, motivated,and independent. Based on personal experience, I am attracted to caregiving due to the fact that assisting others in enhancing their daily quality of life - simply gives me a sense of purpose and satisfaction. I am a professional, honest, patient, kind and passionate caregiver. I am currently a caregiver for a developmentally delayed individual and looking for a position with more stable hours. I have experience providing care for up to 8 individuals at the same time and individuallly. I'm willing to travel 50 miles from the Tampa area. I have been a caregiver for 6 years. I have grown in this field and continue to learn. I'm knowledgeable in physical, occupational and speech therapies. I am trained in First Aid. AED, Compliance courses, HIV/AIDS/ blood-borne pathogens, Medication Management, CPR for babies, children and adults and HIPPA. I've worked in group homes privately owned, corporate owned and in individuals private homes with families. I specialize in individuals with developmental delays ambulatory and wheelchair bound. If you do not have a hoyer lift I can bring my own equipment and slings to provide safety for everyone involved.

I can relate to them with different illnesses that I have been thought I treat them like there my family love people my mother did from cancer , I hated to see people being mistreat by other people and I was not able to help them that's why I came a HHA/CNA I get to meet new people and I lean a lot from them, I get to spend one one time with them. being able to bring joy, love, laughter, fun to people life.

Hospice has shown me many different types of people and how their disease can effect them. My time in the hospital setting gave me a lot of advancement in treatment styles. What I believe makes me a great caregiver is because I always go above & beyond for my elders & treat them like my own family. I'm a naturally caring person & that's what I do best. What attracted me to being a caregiver is I have volunteered in the ER with my grandmother, who is a RN & I loved the rush & learning, which led me to going for my CNA license which I accomplished in high school while taking college classes.
