I was raise in a house with two grandmothers and my mom. Being the youngest I helped with all the house chores I assisted my grandmothers in their daily activities and also let them do what they were able to do by themselves. I grew a passion in helping I love to make a difference in peoples lives and enjoy helping as much as I can. I have worked in a long care facility for about 4 years and from my experience everyone tells me that I am very cheerful and I work well especially with old people and that drives me more to companionship. The 5 years I have been in America. I have been able to attain an associates degree which I am proud of. I have been able to move from being a cna to a medication aide and now I am in nursing school those are the achievements I am proud of

My name is Kayla Gardner, I'm 19 years old, a hard working college student, and I have a passion for patient care. My love for the medical field began freshman year of high school in 2012 and has grown since then. I'm in college to become a doctor specializing in pediatric oncology.
I'm patient, friendly, able to multi task. I[?] love being around elderly people. It's just an amazing experience for me. I'm currently a graduate Student doing a masters in health administration. What makes me a great caregiver is that my goal is to see people smile. My personality is quirky but fun. Geriatrics is a job i have fully enjoyed for 30 years now. No matter what the case maybe,moving,quitting, moving on, i always return to geriatrics.
