Hello, my name is Dezmere Gordon. I have a can-do attitude and a very positive outlook of myself. My goal has always been to have professionalism, empathy, competency, and communication skills to work with elder people. What attracted me to be a caregiver is knowing that I could have an impact on someone's life. I always wanted to put a smile on my residents' faces in everything I did for them and I wanted them to know I cared and they had me to count on. In 2019 I was honored with the ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION CAREGIVERS AWARD at Manorhouse assistant Living and I was on the news. I also was on Brookdale Assistant Living Brochures and their Billboard and gave a testimony about being a good Lead caregiver and what our residents meant to me, in 2017. Being a caregiver fulfills my purpose in life.
