I am most proud of being a mom and a Christian. I grew up taking care of a grandmother that was sick thru a large part of my childhood. I now have children with autism. I truly believe that god gave me the heart of the caregiver. I love hearing the stories of life experiences the elderly tell when they are just sitting around talking. You literally never know what you will hear or learn. Sometimes something simple from their wisdom will truly make my day and give me something to think about. Its a nice calm balance to the chaos of autism I have at home. It seems I have adjusted to both over the last 15 or so years.
