About Michele

My name is Michele. I come from a family of caregivers. My mother as well as two sisters also work in the field. I have been caring for others most of my life starting when I was just 18 years old. I've worked in nursing homes, as well as assisted living facilities, in-home healthcare and have even cared for Hospice patients. I have also worked as a Nanny off and on for several families over the last ten years or so. I feel blessed in knowing that I have made a difference in so many lives over the years. What a blessing to be able to love and care for our little ones brought into this world, helping them, teaching them, and watching them learn and grow. As well as caring for our elderly in giving them the respect and companionship they need. God has blessed me abundantly and I love what I do. I am a 48 year old divorced mother of two grown children. My son is 30 and and is an Officer in the AF, and works for NASA. My daughter is 28 and is a Journalism major, working as a PR Associate, and lives in Philly. I was born and raised in Huntsville, and although I have lived in other states, I now live in New Market near Walnut Grove School off Joe Quick Rd. I have always been a people person and have enjoyed spending my life caring for others, from newborns to grandparents. Although I enjoyed working for Retirement homes and Assisted Living Facilities, I've most enjoyed working on my own whether it's helping working parents that can't always be home and need someone to love and care for their little ones, or helping others in caring for their parents or grandparents. Sometimes it just feels wrong calling what I do a 'work', when I enjoy it so much.

I have a certification in CPR an associate's degree in science and have been certified as a CNA 20 years ago as well as went through a medical assistant program in 2005. I am the mother of two high-spirited an amazing young men ages 23 and 20. My from his son moved out 2 months ago. So I would like to do more to fulfill my life and doing for others and helping others gives me that for filament and joy. I plan to be moving to Mobile the end of March.
