I help the patient live as normal a life as possible. I encourage the patient to share feelings and support their efforts to share. I'm a trusted friend, companion and teacher. I provides physical and emotional support. And sometimes, I 'm a personal driver and shopper. I feel a deep sense of satisfaction, confidence, and accomplishment in caring for someone. It gives me a sense of meaning and pride. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I made a difference in their lives. I meet new people and providing care that they can no longer do for themselves.
