I have always told others that I not medically inclined until almost three years ago my now 5 year old grand son almost drowned in our pool. Man had given upon him surviving. His parents were told that they would be provided with medically assisted suicide. To this day I have been thankful they did not go that route. I learned how to perform trachea change, g-tube feeding and administer medications via his G-tube, comfort him, I have talked many through and even out of major depression. I cared for my parents and grandmother who was a diabetic and those who had high blood pressure just to mention a few. I realized during these transitions that being a caregiver is such a critical player in a time of need because many family members are unable to stop their day to day lives and provide that much needed attention for their live ones. I promise to be loving and caring to your loved ones, they need the care and attention I have to offer.

I am Nikita Crew from Covington, GA. I am 21 years old. I have worked in Customer Service for 3 years. I am a Home Health Aide for CareLinx, and I provide health care services in patients residences, perform domestic and household tasks, transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital, administer simple prescribed medications, assist with clients personal care activities, and general health care needs. I live inAnniston, Al and love walking, yoga, and reading when I am free. I am currently in college obtaining my Bachelor of Science in psychology at Liberty University. I look forward to working with many families and taking care of many patients thank you for the opportunity in advance.

I have always loved to care for others . My first caregiver experience was caring for my family members. Overtime I started caring for others outside of my family. I enjoy helping others and bringing joy to others. What I enjoy most is the smile of clients face when I am with them preparing their meal, taking them shopping, watching movies, or just sitting back listening to them tell stories about their experiences. A personal achievement I'm proud of is obtaining my BA while working a full time split shift job.

I am a very compassionate person, I love helping people and taking care of people. What I decided to get into home health care was because of my mother, she had cardiovascular disease and other medical issues. While going to school for a rn I had to take leave to take care of my mother who was very sick until she took her last breath. I wanted to make a difference in someone's life and give back to people who have done so much for everyone else

I got my CNA while I was still in high school because I knew I wanted to help people. I quickly started working at a nursing home my senior year and fell in love with the patients. Being able to provide the best care is my number one goal.

I became a caregiver in 2001, when my job begin to down size at a bank as a data entry operator. I went back to school and received my CNA certification. I stated my first job in a nursing facility in 2001. I began to care for the sick and elderly and grew attached to them. I could talk to them and share my stores as well as they would share there stories. I fell in love with them and now I enjoy caring for them and hopefully one day become a RN.
