Hello. My name is Patty. I have been a caregiver for over 10 yrs . I started when my best friend was diagnosed with ALS. After she passed away, I went back to school to become a CNA and Hhc so I could specialize in caring for patients with ALS and the elderly patients. Since then, I have cared for 4 additional people who have all been diagnosed with ALS. Between in home care, doctors visits and hospital stays I have been with these amazing people every step of the way through this debilitating disease. I am a caring and loving person. I work hard and always go out of my way to take care of my patients. I have experience in tracheotomy breathing treatment's, G-TUBE care feeding, wound care, medications and other infections. I deal with Medicare and insurance companies. I am willing to drive and I enjoy being with my patients. There health and well being always come first..

Hello! My name is Deanna, I also go by Dee. All together I have five years of caregiving experience. I helped variety of people such as, disabled elders/special needs, people who had Tracheotomy, alzheimers, and dementia. People with alzheimers and dementia I only have 1 year experience with, so I wouldn't say it's my strong suit, but willing to grow in that area. I am a very understanding, and accepting person. It's a quality I really love about myself. I became a caregiver, because I wanted my work to have meaning. I do enjoy getting to know someone on a deep level and providing laughter. My first job was a caregiver, and I don't think I'd feel comfortable doing anything else. I am currently an in-home caregiver, and looking to branch out.

What makes me a great caregiver is the way I care for others. I like to take care of others as I would want to be cared for, I give lots of love, I am very kind, caring, thoughful, and always thrive to make sure the saftey of whom I caring for is well attended and cared for in the most safest way possible. I became a caregiver long before I became an adult. I would always reach out to help others and as I grew older it all came so naturally. I like being a caregiver honestly to help others in need, to have the best possible care that a person or child can receive, I know why I am here and its to help others. A personal achievment I am proud of is, tho I have my own family at home I am still able to care for them 100% while teaching my family its okay to lend a helping hand when in need.

I am a pre-medical student and am thoroughly knowledgeable in disease progression and management. I have been working at a cancer center and have become well-versed in the management of cancer, palliative care, and the side effects associated with systemic treatments and comfort measures. I have always put my patients before myself in my line of work and I will not walk away from a situation until it is completed and all questions have been answered. I put my entire heart into caring for patients and that is why it has been my calling in life. In all of my healthcare jobs, I have grown close to all of my patients and have formed relationships I will never forget. I recently graduated from Arizona State University, with honors, and was featured at my local ASU campus as well as the main campus in Tempe for my distinctions. I credit my success in academia as well as my profession to my passion for healthcare and the drive to make a positive impact on all of my patients.

I have over 25 years of experience as a CMA, CNA, HHA. I guess you can say I have always had a love people. I was taught at a young age that it's not work if you are doing what you love. I'm no longer licensed but the training and experience never leaves.

I have been a Licensed certified Nurse Aide since 1981. I have worked in homes, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centers, mental health and treatment facilities. Recently mostly have done end of life/hospice care and I am the first last person they will ever meet so hope to make a good friendly provider for them.

I love the elderly, disabled and children, there is just a special place in my heart for them. I feel they are so special and need us caregivers to help them get through the day. I raised my grandson for 12 years, he was a special needs child with disabilities, but I would do it all over again. He was a challenge, but I welcome challenges. He is 17 now and we are so close with one another and have that special bond, the same kind of closeness I feel for all the people I have taken care of through the years. I am blessed to be there for them and when they see my smiling face as I am looking them in the face, their expression alone, without saying a word, tells me they appreciate me so much. That makes my day even that much more brighter and with a happy heart....
