I'm currently working full time in pm shift in one of the great assisted living here in Thousand Oaks as medication technician, I am looking forward to pursue my nursing career and I'm looking for a better opportunity with great salary to support my self and my studies with flexible time. I finished my BSN back home, anyway I'm originally came from Philippines, and i do have my hospital back ground. I hope this will opportunity will given me a chance to continue my dreams and my career.
Besides experience and knowledge I acquired from nursing school, helping others has always been my passion. I find joy and fulfillment knowing I make a difference in someone else's life. I am patient and willing to adjust to the needs of my clients. I try to put myself in their shoes, to try and understand them. I treat my patients with love and respect, and with dignity, just like how I would want to be treated if I was in their same situation. Since I was a young age, I have always been interested in helping other people. I enjoy helping others who have trouble helping themselves especially the elderly. I completed my vocational nursing studies in 2012 and it was at that point I realised that helping people is my calling. I love that being a caregiver, you can make a difference. It's a rewarding experience providing care and assistance to those who are no longer able to do so and to know that I have done my job right when I see smiles on their faces. The moments that make me most proud of as a care giver is when I see my patients doing well, seeing their happy faces.
I started working within family members by taking care of out loved ones elders and kids.
As years pass by I found myself committed to this type of work. Making people's lives better by providing a unique care based on their personality and needs. I'm currently a nursing student and pursuing this path to hopefully becoming a general practice doctor. Which is my ultimate goal. Having more than 4 years of experience taking care of my loves ones and yours. The best personal achievement I have received is the smile on my client's face before I leave for the day. Knowing that I have done a good job on making them happy and I'm proud of it. I have experience working with multiple cases of clients from Alzheimer's to dementia, to a more medical need such as G-tube to catheters. My availability is open and I will work around your preferred schedule. I have both CNA and HHA licenses both valid until 2017. Also valid CPR and RNA (restorative nurse aid) certifications. Best way to reach me is through my cellphone. You can either call or text for an interview. Hope to hear from you soon!

I am a natural advocate. I am passionate about everything I do in life. And I love making people smile. I chose caregiving because I am in school for healthcare; I love science and my emphasis is epidemiology. More than anything I love to hear people's life story, I feel caregiving provides the bridge to form a special trust, and experience another person's life. Caregiving enables me become more familiar with empathy, and to more intimately recognize the reality of the human condition.
Exceptionally sensitive and dedicated caregiver with a strong record of health care service and client satisfaction. A depth at handling a variety of client issues and problems with kindness and professionalism.
What makes me a good caregiver is i like to sit down and listen to the individual and the family to find out their concerns and fears and how they want things to be. I respect all rights and will not over step my boundary. I'm a good listener and companion. I became a care giver after taking care of my grandma while she battled with cancer. It was a hard and emotional time but after she passed. I learned that we became closer and during that hard time we also had many good times. So in the end results i became a care giver to become a companion and to help others when help is needed.
I am a 42-year-old male who have worked in long term care facility. 6 years as a certified nurse assistance prior to becoming a License Vocational Nurse. I worked as a charge nurse and a wound care nurse for 15 years. I loved and enjoyed working with the elderly. I get great fulfillment knowing I'm making a difference in their lives.
I have experience with Foley catheters, G-tubes, NG tube and tracheostomy care. I've worked with Alzheimer's and dementia patient. I also have experience with rehab since I've worked hand-in-hand with physical therapy and Occupational therapy to meet plan of care of patients post surgery.
On the past three years I've been working as a private caregiver and really enjoy it more than working in a long-term care facility. I could focus more on my patient/client and give them the full attention and care they need.
I am a fully dedicated, professional caregiver and a certified Nursing Assistant. I put 100% into every job that I take on and my belief is to "do unto others as you would have others do unto you". My experiences are extensive, from being a mother of 4 awesome children for the last 30 years and now a Grandmother of 4 beautiful girls. Currently I've been working with the elderly who have severe Dementia/Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's Disease, Hospice, Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer, and numerous other health issues in Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living Facilities. as well as private in home caregiving as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I've also worked with the developmentally disabled as an instructor at adult daycares including Down's syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, brain injuries, Autism, and have experience with feeding tubes, colostomy bags, catheter care, as well. I thoroughly enjoy helping people, giving hands on care as if the person I'm with is my own family member, and I have great compassion and empathy for people who can't take care of themselves. It makes me proud to know I've made someone else's day brighter and at the end of the day, that's good enough for me. Taking the time to listen and pay attention to detail is really what caregiving is all about. Doing something for someone who can't do for themselves. Showing love, kindness, grace, patience and keeping ones dignity is vital to the well being of an individual. It's what makes me a great caregiver. Thank you for considering me as your personal caregiver. I am also looking for live in on the weekends, and price is negotiable depending on each situation.
