i become a caregiver after taking care my husband recover from a stroke 13 years ago, he went to a comma after 5 days of stoke, brain surgery end up breathing on a tracheostomy until now, I like being a caregiver because I learn more and more as I go. I have worked with all age groups in a variety of settings such as in-home care, residential care, skilled nursing, clinics, hospitals, hospice, etc. I have had licensure/certification as a CNA, DA, EMT, RN and have also worked as a childcare provider, restaurant employee and manager/supervisor. I enjoy helping people enjoy their lives as much as possible. I love my children and grandchildren and enjoy living in nature. I have cared for my mother, 2 mothers-in-law, father-in-law, and other people during their last days/years.
