I can offer training/education to caregivers and/or family. I can attend doctor appointments to keep Health Care Team and family informed. I thoroughly love what I do. I enjoy working with my clients, which become like family to me. My clients needs and comfort are my number one priority. I am dependable and responsible. After taking care of my mother and father in law who were both treated for cancer. I saw the emotional and physical toll that it takes. I decided that I wanted to help other families with the support they need to take care of their loved ones when in need.

I became a caregiver because the profession I wanted to become is to be a nurse. I am a great caregiver because I am a compassionate and kind person. I give my more than 100 % excellent care with my clients and they can feel my sincerity and warmth caring for them. Their family have assurance that their loved one's are in good hands when they leave. Working in a hospital setting with different culture diversity, I have learned to know what they need and respect their culture. The patients that I have taken care of loved me for they know that once I am on duty they know that they would be happy and satisfied with their care. I learned how to handle different temperament of elderlies, some are difficult but with good communication skills and explaining to them that the care I am giving them is for their own good and to get a positive result. Being recognized and commended by my co-workers, superiors and families of my patients of how great I worked is rewarding that motivates me more to deliver excellence of what I do. I was awarded as employee of the month in our unit. I am a very caring person and can easily get along with co-workers, patients and their families. Hardworking individual and can get the task done in a timely manner with positive result. What makes me a good caregiver would be I'm very compassionate I'm honest caring loving and I love to help people what push me into the medical field I volunteered for a year-and-a-half with my grandmother until she moved to Sacramento and I like what I did so I went and got my CNA I'm a certified CNA and that's the accomplishment that I am most proud about

I have worked in the healthcare field the past 4 years; I absolutely love it. I have worked in a group home, ISL(individual supported living), nursing homes and psychiatric hospital, ages ranging from 3-100. I worked as a CNA at the nursing home, helping with bathing, grooming, transfers, toileting, changing and person hygiene. In the ISL, I worked with disabled clients, helping with their everyday need. I would provide transportation, assist with house cleaning, administrating meds, personal hygiene and community skills. I Thoroughly enjoy working in the healthcare field and plan to attend college to get my RN degree. After graduation I would like to become a behavioral health nurse. I love being able to help people with things that they are no longer able to do.
