I am naturally caring and compassionate person; So doing just so will give me sense of accomplishment that I am doing something good. A personal achievement for me was when one of the toughest person I am taking care of stated that I just made him feel important and apologizes for being mean and asked me to take care of him from that day on. And when I simply cover them with blanket while sleeping and says to you " Your such a sweet person and Thank you for taking care of me every night ". And that feeling of rewardness when simply you put a smile and genuine laugh when they see you. That is an accomplishments for me, at the end of the day, I go to sleep smilling, thinking I just made someone's day. I am hardworking, caring, compassionate, patient, understanding, dependable, reliable and flexible. I have been working in a Assisted Living and Memory Care Community for 5+ yrs as a Personal Care Assistant and Medication Technician. I assist individuals on their daily living routine i.e. Dressing, grooming, bathing, escorting, preparing their meals, assisting on their medication management. Assistance on incontinence care example changing their depends, emptying urinal and catheter. Light housekeeping and companionship. My services could simply be as follows: picking lunch/dinner, assistance on taking medications including insulin or checking sugar levels, making meals, running errands, giving rides to medical appointments, hair appointment And/or shopping & walking/exercise. My rate is negotiable depending on services needed. Please do not hesitate to message me for any questions.

I am actually a CNA. I became one because of my grandmother. Seeing her in the sick stage made me want to care for every elderly I could. As a child to see someone who means a lot to you, just go down it made me say when I grow up I want to be in the medical field . And I became a certified nurse assistant. I like the fact that they depend on me for care. I also enjoy caring for them, the look in there eyes when they see me makes me feel like I'm important to someone. My love for older people is undeniable ,strong ,and unfailing . I don't see me doing nothing else but sharing my big heart for a person who needs it. My personal achievement is making them smile when they see me coming to care for them. Letting them talk about old times , listening to their life before they needed a person to come in and care for them. And just knowing that they are glad to have a great caregiver In their life, that's what my achievement is. I'm 40 years old. I've been a CNA for 14 yrs I live in Lodi. I have one son he's 20 soon to be 21. I work for Mule Creek State Prison. I am very active I go running 5 days a week. I enjoy go to the movies, walks, and watching lifetime movie network. I like to visit my dad weekly we have Sunday dinners at his house, which I love I'm very easy going and I live life to the fullest.
The reason I became a caregiver was because my grandmother died alone in a nursing home. I have also worked in facilities. I left due to the fact I didn't like the way the clients were treated I couldn't give them enough attention. The reason why I love working in homes with one or two clients at a time is because you get to know them you get to bond with them and they become like family. 80% of my clients I have stayed with till the end and that is because most of my clients are terminal.
I am the most compassionate, patient, empathetic, kind, caring, hard working individual you will ever meet! I have enjoyed working in the medical field for 15+ years until i began caring for my loved one for 15 years who had dementia and later Alzheimers and wished to remain in her own home so i honored this wish and i found a new calling. Having a medical background and knowledge of diseases and symptoms and medications has been of benefit working as a caregiver and helps me to assess an individuals care needs as i always give 200% and strive to provide the best care possible.

I have always loved helping people that need it. I love being with people and enjoy pretty much everyone. I visit our elderly widows in our church and it just melts my heart to be with them. I started off as a CNA which lead me to care for my mother in law at home with cancer, until she entered into heaven. I assisted with her husband who was paralyzed on his left side. He was awesome and fun! I later worked at the high school until my mother had a stroke. I took care of her for the last six months taking her to dialysis. I've done catheters. I'm friendly, patient, and always willing to encourage the person's to help themselves if they can of course. This is my gift and I'm blessed to be able to do it.
