What makes me a great caregiver cuz I'm a people person and I have compassion and I care about how the how they feel. Well I love most about being a caregiver is that I can help and show that I care and that I'm a living person and I give joy and laughter and comfort out of helping others. My mom was a CNA for 40 years before she passed away and I've been volunteering since I was 12 years old so that's what motivates me to be a caregiver. I'm proud of being a mother I'm proud of being a grandmother I'm proud of just being a person as in the community I'm proud of myself of learning going back to school getting my caregiver certificates and getting all my certificates that I have in ADLs patient care helper I'm just proud of me being a person who I am I'm proud like I said being a mother and a grandmother of course and a wife and I'm proud that I took care of my mom my dad and my grandfather before they passed away.

I've been a CNA for 19yrs & a Caregiver for over 30yrs. I love taking care of people; learning about peoples lives & encouraging them. I love doing Respite Care. I love to interact with pediatric, geriatric & babies.

I am a very open ,honest and fun person. I can easily adapt and improvise to almost any situation. I have worked in the medical field most of my life. Mostly in doctors offices and hospital settings. It has always been a passion of mine. I have 3 children who have different disabilities so I am capable of taking care of different degrees of medical situations. After raising my children I decided to get into home care. I enjoy working and helping people but also able to spend time with my family .

I love being a caregiver, because helping people especially elderly is a very rewarding job, someone need to help elderly and that's me, should help them .. Not everyone likes to be s caregiver but for me it's a very rewarding job. I feel good if I can make an elderly patient smile again and especially if they can get back in walking again . I was very proud of myself when a dementia patient of mine was back to her normal situation ( not exactly normal) but giving the medications on time and feeding or reminding her or him that it's time to eat will help a lot in getting better. Time management for the daily activities of the patient will help a lot in getting better for the patient well being . I considered myself as one of the best caregiver at my job now, and will continue to give my good care to the elderly until I retire .

LOVING WHAT I DO I don't believe many people can say that and truly mean it, but I CAN!! For 15 plus years I have enjoyed watching over and caring for OUR Elderly in Facilities as well as there Homes with responsibilities including Managing Home & Medical Care Daily Care Sheet Reports Dr Appts and Scripts Ordering Medical Supplies Assisting with Transfers Nutrition & Meal Planning Hygiene & Personal Care Housekeeping & Home Maintenance Transportation Entertainment and SO much more and I can elaborate, if needed on any of the above job responsibilities I held while assisting those whom have made this wonderful life possible for Me and I am So Blessed to have not only found My passion in life, but make a career of it.

I love to help ppl, its a rewarding career cause u can just be there for a person & help them give them a reason to live... Putting a smile on their faces, & the way they look at u made me wanna be a caregiver... Getting to know a person, & their familys, & giving a better quality of life before they leave this world... Going to school to learn to do this shop i did that class three times pkus general education upon entering the bursing program...

I been a caregiver for about 11 years now. I love to help people and being able to be there for them when they need me. I love the people that I have work for and I can honestly say that they have love me too. I have a big heart and I have a lot of patience.

People like me, animals like me, I'm good at what I do, which is everything a house manager/caregiver does. People have added a room on just for my ironing. I am good at thinking ahead, anticipating what is needed. A team player. Take lead as well. Recent: 1st Aid/ CPR certification I poke fun at everyone in a polite good way, I like to teach good things. I enjoy swimming, horseback riding, table tennis. I enjoy all ages, attentively.

I believe that I will make an excellent caregiver beacuse I love to help people who are in need of help specially if they can't do everything for themselves. I am graduate student of Medical Assistance and I know i am fully prepared to do as I was taught by my instructors.
