I started being a caregiver I'm taking care of my grandpa. I discovered after he died that I really love giving back and taking care of people that cannot take care of themselves so I decided to become a CNA. This is a very rewarding job when you get back to those who can't help themselves. I am a god-fearing woman so I believe taking care of God's people. I've been a certified nursing assistant for 4 years and took care of my grandpa for 3 years so altogether I have been a caregiver for 7 years and I love what I do.

I was born and raised here in the Bay Area and am a retired registered nurse. After practicing in many different areas (medical/surgical, adult advice, school, long term care, dementia) I have found a passion for elder and end of life care but am happy to help anyone. My goals as a caregiver are to provide a safe, nurturing, supportive and respectful environment for my clients. Patience and a sense of humor are important as life for the elderly is pretty tough.
