I have been a caregiver for 15 years. I have continued my education as well. I love working with diverse clients. I work with the elderly and mentally disabled from children to adults. I believe that it has always been my calling. I am very respectful, compassionate and caring. I am responsible and trustworthy.
I am a person centered caregiver which means no matter what, the person I'm caring for needs will always be the center of my attention. My clients will never leave my care without feeling better, the environment cleaner, needs met, and cared for. I will always provide dignity and respect towards my clients. I started my care giving career with the neighbor boy who was my age, and he had multiple sclerosis. His Mom paid me to sit with him, and play video games and make lunch. I remember pushing his wheelchair through my yard, and providing him a childhood friend. I went on to get my CNA license because I loved the thought of caring for the elderly especially doing their hair and getting them dressed. My skills and experience range from light housekeeping duties with companionship to medical experience. I have experience in trach suctioning, tube feedings, medication administration, nail care, many developmental disabilities, mental illness and also dementia and alzheimers that come with age. I have enjoyed my experience in the home health care and group home industry the past 15 years and I have decided to go off on my own and provide in-home care only. I love what I do! Let me help take a load off and provide quality, Christian care for whatever your needs may be! I love to cook so if you just need meals prepped for the week of your choice, I can do that too in your home!
I have always enjoyed the ability to help others to enjoy living when it becomes hard for various reasons. I am very friendly and always smiling. I have cared for people for about 10 years now whether privately for family/friends or under a company. I feel like I will be a great fit for anyone.
I am a very people-friendly person. I have been working as a CNA since almost four years (I have been in the US since five years). My dad chose myself a career pathway for my future- Nursing. He is 64 and my mom is 63. I love taking care of elderly people as they are very near to my heart. My personal achievement till now is I live with my parents and I am getting to take care of them as much as I want to. "Caregiving" term is itself exciting for me.
I first entered the medical field when I joined the Army in 2008. It was a last minute decision to change my MOS (job) to a medical one from what originally would have been satellite signal communications. One of the best decisions I ever made in life. After becoming certified as a medic, I found my passion in life. I basically fell into my civilian occupations because it was so hard to find employers willing to recognize a military education as comparable to civilian education. The army taught me skills that civilians would have to go to medical school to learn. My first job in hospitals was in 2010 and I started nursing school the same year. I fell in love with nursing, I opened my mind and soaked up as much as I could like a sponge. Over the past 10 years I've learned so many useful skills, how to be patient, and how to gain the confidence of both patient and family. I have something you can't teach as well, compassion.

I have been a caregiver on and off my entire life and find it to be most rewarding. It truly began when I was 12 helping care for my grandmother who had a series of strokes while living with us. Through the years I have worked with a variety of people in many environments from hospitals to home health, residential care to Laradon School. I am detail oriented, a self started, and task oriented. I believe we all have a calling and this is mine.
