I have been in the health care fill working from nursing to Group home since 2015 roughly a year from my arrival in this country. my passion has always been to help those who are in need to live a meaningful life. that is why I choose to work with the elderly, as special need individuals because I believe they are human being who was once healthy and strong and spend their lives taking care of other in every way shape or forms. to me, working with the elderly is a form of giving back to my community.

Hello! I take pride in what I do because I genuinely care about the well-being and comfort of all of my patients. I am very confident in my work ethic, mainly because of all the years of experience I have. I've worked at multiple nursing homes, starting back in 2016. The most important thing to me is building long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families. A little background information about me is I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and also CPR & First Aid Certified. I am so also OSHA certified by the state of Connecticut. I'm a non-smoker, and I am fully vaccinated and boosted. I'm friendly, caring, responsible, reliable, fun, and people-oriented. I have plenty of experience, as I have previous working history in home-care and nursing homes. My help would direct to, but not limited to, household chores/cleanup, meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, help with daily activities, grooming, car transportation, grocery shopping, running errands, etc. I understand how important it is for families to feel secure and safe when selecting the right caregiver for their specific family needs, and I am confident I will be a great fit. Let me know if this sounds like a fit for you and your family, and we can discuss further!

My level of expertise is like no other; Effortlessly, I always go above and beyond for my clients. Ever since the age of five years old when my Mom asked me what I wanted to become and my answer was "Mom, I want to be a Doctor because I want to take care of old people and I love them" and of course she laughed. Years later I ended up in numerous occupations, but at the end I found my way back to nursing (smile)- Need I say more? It gives me great pleasure to listen to the elderly. Moreover, their stories are precious and rare each unique experience that "cannot" be replaced (priceless commodity) and most importantly the joy and knowledge it gives me deep within (humbled). Looking back on all my choices I can honestly say that I have no regrets; Especially, since it has mold my life and made me who I am today. My mother would have been proud of me when I achieved my licensed (CNA) and knowing that it does not stop there since I was already enrolled in a nursing program in College and eventually I will go back since I took a long break after she passed. In conclusion, I love what I do and work for me is (never) work since my passion is caring for the elderly (smile)-

As an experienced caregiver, I am able to give the best of me to my clients. I have experience with infants, young and elderly with all type of conditions. I am able to come up with some ideas that fit my clients needs and make them comfortable. Most clients appreciate my personality and character. I am reliable, dependable and treat all my clients with respect and respect their dignity during care and all the time. I like when I get feedback from clients and management because it helps me improve my performance and service. Integrity and honesty are also attributes that are dear to me in my practice because they define the core values of the job itself. Empathy is another attribute that cannot be faked but must be part of self to thrive in this field. Being a mother of three children, I have developed both sympathy and empathy and over the years learned to separate both depending on whether I am dealing with family matters or professional one. Caring nature is part of me as a mother. A personal achievement I am proud of is helping. We are all team.

I've been an active caregiver for the past 15 years or so, both as a live-in and live-out caregiver. Most of my working experience comes from outside of the US. I started working as a caregiver because needed a job and earn money(do not let yourself fooled by anyone that says otherwise ) and as a single mom of three you can guess that i had no choice in choosing what i considered at that time that i would like. During the years i earned so much more than money. I started out with a job and ended up with having more and more family members as each and one of the patients that i assisted become in some way my mother/father, my daughter/son and a challenge to build up my empathic skills . Ended up understanding that caregiving is not a JOB although it's paid. You treat not just people but a very fragile class of people. They definitely need our assistance in daily chores but that is not enough , they need somebody that does not define them only trough their disability. Caregiving it's not just about taking care of a body it is a 360 degree assistance which consider the person in a holistic way (body, mind and spirit) As a caregiver i might fail in some chores(nobody is perfect) but one thing that i am proud of is that as much as i could i tried to bring joy. Hard but necessary was when I had to assist patients in an point where life comes to an end. In some cases I sing their favourite song, hold a hand, give a caress to the person in need and explain to family members that it is perfectly normal to be scared or to suffer and to assure them that they are not alone.
