Moreover, their stories are precious and rare each unique experience that "cannot" be replaced (priceless commodity) and most importantly the joy and knowledge it gives me deep within (humbled). Looking back on all my choices I can honestly say that I have no regrets; Especially, since it has mold my life and made me who I am today. My mother would have been proud of me when I achieved my licensed (CNA) and knowing that it does not stop there since I was already enrolled in a nursing program in College and eventually I will go back since I took a long break after she passed. In conclusion, I love what I do and work for me is (never) work since my passion is caring for the elderly (smile)-

As a young adult all I knew was my grandmother. She taught me everything I knew until she got sick. Her body started to break down and I had to take care of her. I prepared her meals, breakfast and dinner and gave her showers also dressed her. She got really bad and she was forced into a nursing home because nobody was able to give her the proper care she needed. She passed away in the nursing home. I felt nothing but guilt that I didn't have the skills to take care of her so she could be comfortable at her own home. So I made an effort to be the best CNA for others on this planet. So their families can get proper care in the comfort of their homes.
