I have 20 + years Professional CNA work in Ft. Myers and Islands & Beaches areas, including as a Team Manger. My experiences in Home Health also started in Ohio. My skills are vast and inclusive to ADL's, dementia, Special Diets ( ie -FODMAP) and more. I'm fully licensed, insured, previous ACHA background check, CEU's, and have many references. I'm used to personal referrals but also have been on the F.I.S.H. Services Caregiver List- a United Way Credited Agency providing leads and connections to residents and 'Snowbirds', throughout the Islands (Sanibel/Captiva), and in earliest days did work through other agency referrals. Relocated-- I am a Survivor of Hurricane Ian in Ft. Myers, Ft. Myers Beach, last year, Sept 2022. I was drawn to the Ocala area through a friend/associate offering respite or whatever I needed and became enthused by it all here. I'm now a homeowner so have been busy with early repairs, upkeep and then a new roof. I am a licensed emergency medical technician and certified paramedic, and strive to provide the highest care to those in need and have made it my life passion. I have many years of experience in emergency medicine as well as caring for others weather professional or personal. I had two grandmothers and a grandfather that had many ailments to include: stroke, Alzheimer's, cancer, and dementia. I was present and provided most of their palliative care prior to their passing. This included everything from companionship to ADLs to BLS care. I am trustworthy, hard-working, and extremely compassionate and love to be able to provide my assistance and care to anyone who needs it.

I'm very good at caring for others and have always wanted to be a nurse. The appreciation from clients and the feeling of knowing that you are helping people transition from one situation to the other for me is priceless. My first client was given a couple of weeks to live by her Dr. When I took over her care, she lived three more years. I love what I do because it has taught and helped me to be a better person. I am raising two beautiful children and very proud of what I do everyday.

I have been a stay at home mom for 20 years and ready to return to the workforce. I have worked in nursing homes, providing care for the elderly. I also have worked for shands hospital for 6 years. I started in the neurosurgery floor and later moved to out patient dialysis. I have always loved working with the elderly.

I'm dedicated to my patients, I care for them as if they were my own family. I became a caregiver in 1998 it has always been my passion to care for others. You will find a very a hardworking in me never slacking.

Caregiving isn't a job to me. It's something I love doing and it's my duty to give back to my community while helping those in need. I am compassionate towards others and I know how to satisfy and meet the demands of other people's needs. Being a daughter to a mother who needs help herself, has shown me just how tough it could be for others to take care of their loved ones while juggling work, kids, and other responsibilities. Caregiving is my foundation to jumping into the career of the medical field. Understanding what it takes to take care of someone in need will only then provide me with insight on how I'll be able to take care of others in my future medical profession.

I do believe that I have the ability to make a Senior happy, and healthy. I'm very mature, and self-sufficient in my everyday life. I look forward to helping and taking care of those who can't do so for themselves, and I always try my best to ensure that I am taking care of the person that I'm working with to the best capabilities possible. I have experience with senior care patients with ALS, Alzheimer's, Dementia, Sundowner's syndrome, Lung Cancer, Asthma, Parkinson's, and those who have suffered from strokes, Etc. I also have experience with feeding tubes, vents, cough assist, nebulizer treatments, medication management, oxygen use, blood sugar testing, catheters/foley's, specific diets, ambu bags, woundcare, etc. I'm very dependable, on time, and reliable for whenever you need me.
