I had surgery 25 years ago and being dependent on another was a humbling experience. On regaining my health, I went to nursing school, however, the trajectory of my life cut that dream short but haven't denied me the capability to make a difference. I've worked privately these past 15 years in the homes of a few, and today my family comes in all colors. My two recent clients had asked me to stay with them to the end, which I honored. Today, their children stay in constant communication and we visit each other homes. The extra love has been my reward in honoring what I do.... when I see my Jewish and German families.
