I was attracted to becoming a caregiver when i did volunteer work in a nursing home at the age of 17. The most i enjoy about taking care of others is seeing them happy, feeling loved and being able to give their loves ones a break. Hello, I am a mother of three beautiful children. I have worked as a CNA since 2014 and have thoroughly enjoyed the field. I am very patient with my clients and treat each individual with the most utmost respect. I am protective of my clients and I firmly believe in standing for their rights. I enjoy each client's different personality and quirks and how these quirks make each person different and special in his/her own way. I love being able to make my client smile, or at least comfortable enough to enjoy his or her day or able to sleep well at night. I am proud of the fact that I am lucky to raise three intelligent and beautiful little people, and am in aw as my children grow into such strong individuals. My children are my motivation to always be a good person and to do the best I can be.

I have a very easy going personality and that has helped me feel comfortable when I am with families and clients who come from all walks of life. I first became a caregiver while working at Shands hospital in Gainesville Florida, I saw a huge need with my patients who wanted to be at home but was unable to be alone and was also not ready for a nursing home. I would help them get set with equipment needed in their homes and help take care of them until they no longer needed assistance or the majority of the time until they passed away. This lead me to meeting nurses and doctors who would recommend me to other clients and that is how my business started. I have traveled with clients when they are unable to travel without assistance. I would travel with them to visit family or maybe a second home they own and other times just because they wanted a vacation. I have experience with making reservations when traveling, setting up clinic visits if the client has medical needs that would need to be addressed while on vacation. I feel like this is my calling in life and feel so blessed I am able to help others stay in their homes or facilities and be happy and healthy for as long as possible.

I'm very passionate about life and my choice of career. I've been a Cna for 12yrs and counting. I started helping with a family business at the age of 11. It was a Personal Care Home. I enjoy providing care and helping people in need. I feel like everyone needs someone at some point in life. I'm happy to be a part and have been a part of so many individuals lives. I'm currently in the LPN program. I plan to further my education by also completing the RN program as well.
