Im new to Florida I moved here in the end of July 2014 I believe in taking care of those who cannot do so themselves. I have achieved alot in my years from hospice care to critical care .Im a 57 year old male who did hospices from 1985 thru 2020. I obtained my lna license in NH in 2007 and received my license here in Aug 2014 I love what I do and believe home is MUCH better then a rehab or nursing facility its one on one rather then sharing with 15 others. I have received several awards for doing my job as well as i have many references that are available upon request. My last clients were24/7 both husband and wife he passed Jan 2017 and she passed oct 2019 just shy of 90 years old.I did not work in 2020 but resumed with a client in 2021 with end stage Alzheimer's which he just passed feb 8,2022. I lost my daughter in a,car wreck in 1999. It made me think more about life and felt I needed to help people . So I became a a state tested nurse aid work in nursing home for 14 year. 4 years in Alzheimer's unit. Retired and started privet care, stared taking care of Helen Hixson in 2014 left 6 mouth before she died . When she got sick she called me and ask me to come back so she flew me back to take care of her till she passed away. I felt honard she trusted me to take care of her. I have a CPR CERTIFIED and I have a up to date back ground report. I find this is my calling in life. I can do feed tubing ,blood pressure, sugar test pulse and more.

My name is Melissa , I worked as a caregiver and HHA for my father and uncle for years. My dad was out of the hospital due to COVID and he was on a ventilator and also needed help with everyday tasks I assisted with cleaning, cooking , feeding , bathing, clothing, and day to day. My uncle had a major seizure when he was younger and now he's disabled, I helped him with day to day as well , cleaning , cooking , taking to appointments, playing games and doing activities, bathing , and overall caring for him. He would get violent after having seizures and I had to be patient and understanding I say that because I'm very patient and understanding to all needs and necessities.
