I've been a CNA for 12 years. I have experience in Nursing home/rehab , hospital setting and also home health care. What bought me into this field is the compassion I have for helping others and making a difference in their life. I particularly enjoy home health care because the one on one time with the client builds a bond and a connection with the client as well as the family.

My name Z-dell, I have been a certified nursing assistant for 27 years, and still counting... I'm well rounded I have with nursing homes, assisted living, private duty, hospitals 1:1, mental health, special needs adults and children, autism, cerebral palsy individuals. When you as an individual in the health care field, you have to truly CARE, about the people you are responsible for at the time whom you are giving care to but that's in general in life, you have to LOVE people. And TRUE LOVE come from GOD... We have to place CHRIST first, in all we do, it will make you great at whatever level your expertise is, I will honestly tell you that is why I'm GOOD at what I do as a CAREGIVER.

A great caregiver is a person who sincerely cares for people in general no matter their circumstance. It is called unconditional love and compassion. Caring for those in need is very special and dear to my heart, as I hope there will be someone to care for me if ever needed. I take my job serious, and believe that every individual should be treated with dignity and respect.
1. My mother was diagnosed with MS, it was very painful watching her lose her independent, a woman full of wisdom and strength. She lived with it for 10 years and i was with her through out her ill period taking care of her. It wasn't easy for her but being there for her was a big healing on it own and it gave me joy being there for her and making sure she was comfortable at all times. After my mother went to be with the lord, i pledged to get trained professional, in other to help others that may need my help. 2. The interaction and being able to know that at the end of the day that i am able to help and save ones life. 3. I went to University and graduated with Bachelor degree in Healthcare Management and minor in Business Admin. 4. I am humble, energetic,loving, caring, motivator, listener, God fearing and i have passion in what i do.
I'm a compassonate caring person who likes to make others feel their best. I have been a caregiver for 25 plus years. During my years as a caregiver I've had all sorts of notable moments, caring for those who sometimes just need to know that they are not alone. Also I like cooking and other ventures, I mostly enjoy assisting others with the help they need to make their lives quality, also listening to their life stories and sharing stories of my children and grandchildren.
I became a caregiver because I can give people the care and support they need to be all they can be. I love helping people, making sure that the life and very existence of someone is better, because I am in there life is very important to me. I have experience working in homes, nursing homes, hospitals and I also have 5 years experience working for Hospice. I am Certified in CPR and First Aid. I am patience, dependable, neat and clean. I love to cook also. I am a non smoker, non drinker, I have a good driving record and I have a excellent background. I have experience working with Alzheimer's, Dementia, stroke, cancer patients, brain injuries, Parkinson, diabetes, ALS, patients with feeding tubes, Foley Catheters,, Tracheas, and vents.
