I went into healthcare right out of high school and have been in the field since. I love providing care for all ages. Its my passion. I'm currently in school to continue my education in nursing. I volunteer at my local animal control. I am very passionate about animal care and protecting them from abuse. I current foster animals to get them ready for their furever home.

I have been a CNA for 6 years with experience in all different areas. I am compassionate, loveavle, and caring. I always treat my patients/clients as top priority. I became a caregiver because I've always wanted to help others. Especially when my grandma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease it made me want to work with patients with that disease even more. I enjoy seeing my patients/clients feel like they have accomplished a goal or a step towards their goals. I also like making them feel like someone cares for them and has their best interest at heart. I am proud to have the amount of years of experie ce that I have, and I am proud to know that most of my patients from previous companies still compliment my work.

In 1992, My mother experience colon cancer and I felt hopeless because I was not sure what to do. After her death, I felt the need to change my Career and help other families with their parents health problems. That is when I became a CNA in 1994. I knew this is what I meant to do. I loved helping patience and putting my all into my job. In 2014, I also lost my father form Alzheimer's, While he was alive I did all I could do as a caregiver to help and take care of him. With my patients I treat them as family not strangers. I show them that I care and will never do anything to harm them. I keep everything I do very professional and display excellent care. I honestly can say I really enjoy my job and I want to show families that I will do everything in my will to help them. I am a very devoted and loyal worker and will never allow disappointment to my clients.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I understand what a family us going through being that I helped care for my grandparents. I have been certified since 1997 but my experience from caring for my family members has been since my teenage years. And knowing that others depend on me to care for their love ones is what I love to do. Getting to know and understand ones family is getting to know the individual who is needing care. Treating others as you would want others to treat your family members is the key.. My personal achievements that I am very proud of is knowing that when I leave that person I am caring for, I know that I have done the best and provided the best care for them and that they are happy and I can return to them and they remember the way I talked to them, treated them and showed them the passionate care that I have towards them by treating them as if they were my family with dignity and respect. I enjoy cooking gardening, organizing and do much more. 1) I started taking care of my grandmother at 15,and doing missionary work in church with her or to the public.She made me make a promise to her that I would never stop assisting others who are ill. 2) The drive and determination of my career has kept focused and grounded to know this job is about helping people live again. 3) Going back to college to obtain my BA in Healthcare Management. 4) I am dedicated to my patients and I fell in love with the attributes I possess when it comes to being empathetic to others this is my calling and I loved it from the first day I started my career as a CNA/HHA.
