I became a caregiver because both of my parents have passed away. I wish I could take care of them in their old age but that was taken from me. I love taking care of the elderly because it is my passion to do so. When I take care of a families loved one , the entire family becomes my family and I treat their loved ones as such. I went to college to be an RN but was only able to finish 2.5 years because we started a family earlier than I expected And now I have 4 beautiful children of my own. That I love to the moon and back. I think some people believe their parents will live forever and I'm thinking this way, parents are taken for granted and they don't know what they are missing out on it is a blessing to be able to take care of our elderly parents.
