Caregiving to me is a way of life. It's honoring those before me and the hard work they've put in over the years. It the ultimate reward, being there and making life easier on someone else. I love the closeness caregiving provides and the relationship it inevitably fosters.

I will say first that I love being a certified nurse assistant in America and I thrive to become a better person while working in the healthcare field. The fact that I can be happy and nice on purpose and get paid for it is amazing but the award that comes with the job is unheard of. I enjoy the family you gain while providing care for someone. But most of all I enjoy giving the love ones a piece of mind knowing that they love one is in good hands while I'm assisting and helping take care of duties that needs to be done. I received employee of the month fours times in during the pandemic. Was very proud of myself for achieving that.

I am a very caring kind hearted person I love to help others in any way possible and that is what makes me a great caregiver. Being able to make relationships with someone I'm able to help attracted me to being a caregiver. Helping someone everyday and just knowing that your making a difference in their life is very rewarding. I enjoy being able to help others that can't do everything on their own and some people don't have families that can help them and they depend on us so that their needs are met.
