I am 37 years of age, Polynesian woman offering 13 years of experience in caregiving . Great communication/verbal/written/listening skills. Fun loving, outgoing, friendly, love to socialize, cooperative and awesome team player, persistent and committed. I have worked in hospital settings, nursing home facilities, private duty, adult daycares. Very knowledgeable on handling a variety of emergency situations. I am very passionate in helping those who are in need of care and treat them as my very own family.
I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a part of the health industry. When my mother was diagnosed with cancer in early 2009, I would help her with showering, combing her hair, nail care, and daily medicine reminders. When she passed my father constantly fell ill and I would be tasked to help him. In 2012, my father went into cardiac arrest and it was my quick thinking and CPR knowledge that saved his life until the paramedics arrived. Although I may be new to the health industry professional wise, I have already changed the lives of many and continue to do so because I am constantly striving to do my best for myself and the clients/patients. I will admit that I'm nowhere near perfect but I am a hard worker and fast learner and can overcome any obstacle. I enjoy being a caregiver/nurse aide because I love being able to help someone get back to feeling their best and doing what they love and not have anything hold them back, medically or physically. Also, it warms my heart to know that I helped make a difference in someone's life.

Aloha! I'm a compassionate Nurse Aide. My personal trait that makes me a great caregiver is that I am patient. Everyone says my smile is what attracts most patients when I am working because it gives them such joy knowing hat they are in good hands. The most thing I enjoy about being a caregiver is that I get to help those who aren't able to do much. Personal achievement so far is that I have done so many challenges within the few years of working at the hospital and I've made it this far.
I am currently unlicensed. I was a CNA for 6+ years in Connecticut before I enlisted in the Army to pursue my education. My license expired while I was in the service due to not working as a CNA for more than 3 years. I cared for my elder aunt who lived with us when I was in high school and that's when I decided to get into this field. I am compassionate to their needs and I have a lot of patience. Besides taking care of your loved one, I will be attentive to them and get to know them as if they were my own family fulfilling whatever needs they may have.
Hi! My name is Luci. I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 27 years. Although my position requires me to work with all age groups, I have grown particularly fond of our senior population. My most recent work experience caters to our seniors who have dementia, Alzheimer's, and any other medical condition in which alters their behaviors such as; sleepless nights, aggressiveness, combative behaviors and many other behavior issues they may be experiencing. Though I do possess the skills and knowledge needed to provide your loved ones with quality care, dignity, respect and to ensure their safety. I particularly enjoy getting to know them on a more personal level; NOT just a patient!
I've been a certified nurse assistant for about 6 years now, and also love being a caregiver, being a caregiver has really helped me in so many ways in my life, I've learned to take my time, and also enjoy the time when you still got time to enjoy your life, I am such a soft hearted caregiver my family loves to call me cry baby all the time but to me I'm so thankful that I do have this special heart and the caring that I have for your love ones. I always see your love ones as my own I will love and care for them like how I would care for mines, mostly it's always great to laugh and communicate with families the most you will feel more loved and feel a lot more welcomed. May god bless you all and hope you would choose to let me care for your love ones just as my own..
I am a very upbeat person ready and willing to help. I also want to learn what might be the best way for the client as well. I was attracted to caregiving because it's something very natural for me. I grew up with a mother who was physically disabled because of a car accident when I was still an infant. I can also say that it brings me some fulfillment to know that I'm actually helping someone who will appreciate it. My personal achievement that I am proud of would be the person who I've become through my own struggles and situations that I've gone through.
