Hi, my name is Taylor. I'm a sophomore in college. I am outspoken, and can hold a conversation with anyone. I love being around people and helping them. Compassion is one of the best qualities I have. I serve everyone with the same compassion. I wanted to be a caregiver because selfishly its a step towards my career in nursing, but also I would want someone to take care of me the way I take care of my patients and residents. Family is my world and if I can step into a family and take a little burden off of them so they can continue to progress in their day to day activities I'm overjoyed to provide that service. The thing I enjoy most is hearing stories from the past. I am attentive and really listen. I have held 2 health care positions at OSF St. Francis in Peoria. I'm proud of my accomplishments in the hospital setting, however, I feel like its time for a change of pace.

My name is Morgan. I am a CNA and have years experience with home healthcare, long term care, and the hospital setting. I am a dedicated and compassionate individual who strives to provide the best care I possibly can to residents or patients. I believe that my patient care skills make me a natural fit for this position. I have experience performing Nursing Assistant duties, including feeding, grooming and bathing patients while helping them with their other basic care needs. I assist the nurses with their daily duties when needed. My compassion for patients, along with my ability to communicate well with them, has always made me an asset in the workplace. I feel that my patient-driven approach, CNA skills and desire to learn new residents and or patients makes me a great caregiver/cna. I love connecting with the ones I care for, building a bond with means so much to me. I'm all about residents rights and how they will always come first. I became a cna as majority of my family is the medical field so it grew on me. I will be going back to school to finish the nursing program. This isn't a paycheck for me, this is truly where my heart is. Nothing makes my day better than knowing I did my job, I gave the best care I could give before their last breath, before the are sent home, or just at the end of the shift.

What attracted me is that I enjoy taking care of residents, knowing I cam help put a smile on their face & make sure they are happy & comfortable! What I most enjoy is all the stories they tell me! I am a greaf caregiver because I always make sure things are done how they are wanted per residents & also make sure they are happy & relaxed! I am a mother myself & very proud of it! I would like to move up in the medical field to tend to my family!

I became a great caregiver when I cared for my mom for 8yrs. I learned a great deal about personal care, and the doctors and nurses were so amazed at the care I had given her I was motivated to care for other in need. What attracted me to become a caregiver was after caring for my mom, I felt it was a calling. A personal achievement of my mine was caring for my mom and still today the care I give to others.
