I developed an exercise program at a nursing home. It was so rewarding to lead the group and see the progress some of the residents were able to make. A stroke victim was able to slowly increase her range of motion on the side that was practically paralyzed.

Hi all! Ever since I was little I knew I had a passion for nursing. Working in nursing homes and now home care has reassured me, nursing is the job for me! What I love about being a caregiver is the one-on-one time. I am allowed to really get to know a person, not just read their charts and talk strictly medical history. Home-care allows me to create a relationship that is unable to be made anywhere else.

Nothing makes my day better than knowing I did my job, I gave the best care I could give before their last breath, before the are sent home, or just at the end of the shift.
