Iam one person that does this job not only for money but its a blessing that iam able to do what God blessed me in doing and I enjoy what I do and thank all families that trust me with there loved ones.

Been a CNA for 14 years. Ive worked in a few nursing homes. My father has Parkinson's disease and being a cna as long as I have. U learn to deal with all sorts of disability. I'm plan on furthering my education and become a registered nurse.

I became a caregiver to help provide care to those in need. I enjoy getting to know the individuals and their families.

I'm very caring, loving and will go above and beyond to take care of your loved one. I've worked as an Administrator in Training Social Service Director, Dietary Manager all in long-term care. I have also been a business office manager in Psychiatry and was a Resident Assistant at an assistant living. Ever since I was young, I've always enjoy taking care of my grandparents weather I was painting toenails, shaving legs or giving a haircut or helping to house chores that were difficult for them. It always put a smile on my face. Not only do I enjoy helping others, but seeing the satisfaction of relief on their face on things that maybe difficult for them to complete or families with smiles that have stress relieved off of them is satisfying to me. I love what I do and I wouldn't do it any other way. With my experience, I have learned to be patient with others, listening to everyone, and think of all options or approaches before acting.

Because I am a very compassionate person, patient and fine seniors and elderly people very interesting to spin time with, the thaught of being able to help someone that truly appreciate the help we give. Being able to say I've spent 30s years taking care of older people and have enjoyed every bit of it. Whatever job I held in taking care of seniors and elderly persons I committed myself and gave a 100% to my job.

A caregiver isn't a job for just anyone. You have to have special characteristics to provide excellent care, I am honest, trustworthy, friendly, punctual, caring, good listener, patient and selfless. My happiness comes from helping others. As I grew up I took care of myself, as a teen I moved in with my grandparents so I could take care of them ever since then it's always been my dream to help others. Also I have worked in nursing homes and it broke my heart to see how residents are cared for. People seem happier in their own homes so if there is something I can do to help them stay in their home I will do it. Through the years I've had several clients, I have never had a client that has not liked me. I am proud to say that I have brought happiness to other people's lives and provided the best care that I could.

I love helping people in any way possible. I am a very patient and caring person and find that these traits help me be a great caregiver. I have experience working and volunteering in a Home Heath care setting and loved this area of caregiving.

Hi! I am a current nursing student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville but am transferring to the UofI in may. I'm moving back to my hometown of Champaign, IL. I have 3+ paid years of experience of being a certified nursing assistant. I have worked everywhere from cancer centers to nursing homes to home health care. Theres not much I haven't treated. I'm confident that I can provide the upmost care for yourself (or loved ones) as I put my patients first through and through. I love caring for others, caregiving is in the the very core of my being. I do believe it is what I was born to do. At an early age , my mother instilled in me the value of caring and helping others. I love providing comfort to people who are in need of it's of a result illness or injury and aging. The satisfaction it brings them pleases me. I am very proactive, motivated, attentive, person. I am especially proud to have many years of experience in this field, I have work in many departments in hospital staffing, assisted living, private duty. I have been requested personally by individual doctors to work in their home for them as well as private famous families. I have never allowed money or fame to effect my duties as a caregiver.
