I am both empathetic and sympathetic. I gained all my skills from the long years of my experience. I am extremely hardworking as they said but for me it's not about the hours or pay that matters but how my patient feels aside from the professional care I rendered. I am always happy to be of help. Hi! My name is Jessica. I'm a 41 yr old married mother of two. We live in a little house in a quiet neighborhood on the Westside with our pup, BOSS. My years of HHA/STNA experience started with my Grandpa. His cancer was aggressive and starting to spread and was told his weeks numbered. Hospice was called and he was able to go home; to live in a familiar, peaceful place with Family and where friends were welcome as well. Plans were made and I moved into my grandparents house and became his Nurse/Companion/ Counselor/Taxi/helper/Maid/Doctor/Chef/Aide; whatever my Grandpa needed me to be. I got to spend 11 months caring for my Grandpa before he passed. I was devastated but very thankful for the extra time we'd gotten to have. Thanks to my Grandpa, I'd realized that this is what I'm meant to do...I've been in this line of work ever since. I have taken care of younger people, older couples and single people in their homes. I had the opportunity to help a Family friend by ways of a "live in" Caretaker for a short time as well as working at a Nursing Home/Retirement Community for 4 years on the Alzheimer's/Dementia Unit. I've also had the pleasure of taking care of/helping with a few Furry Family members as well as the newest additions to the Family I'm with! Graduated Nursing May 2022 I've been a STNA for 8 years

I got into caregiving on accident. I was looking for employment and a friends suggested I apply at her job which was Alzheimer's assistant living. I got the job and realized I loved it! I became state tested and have been in this line of business for 14 years. I love taking care of people who can't fully take care of themselves. There is pride in helping others and I am humble that God chose me to be the voice and care taker for some who can't express their needs and others who just need help along the way. I am proudest of accomplishing my PCA II which is a promotion from PCA acknowledging I am proficient in my level of expertise and care. I am also a safety coach and a proud member of the safe patient handling committee at my current employer that looks at proper ergonomics and equipment that keep both the patient and caregivers safe and free from injury. I do not have a car but I do use Lyft and Uber to travel if that's okay.

I am currently a master of social work student with a concentration in healthcare. I have over 10 years experience in healthcare in hospitals, rehabs, long term care , and in home care. I am CPR BLS and First Aid Trained. I have experience working with complex disorders such as alzhiemers, dementia, epilepsy and autism.

I am a 26 year old Woman and I have been working in this field for five years now. I am experienced from home health, nursing homes, and assisted living. I have experience with all different kinds of clients and residents. I have two children and I am going to be attending nursing school to farther in my career and this upcoming year. I have two children and was raised mostly by my grandparents so I take pride in making sure people are taken care of and treated the way I would want them to be. I chose this career because I truly love helping and caring for people.

My mother was a nurse and I enjoyed being a part of that atmosphere, I started out being an nurses assistant and I found it more enjoyable being STNA . That is a state tested nursing aid it took me two hospitals nursing facilities and it gave me a greater appreciation for what we do and now I'm able to enjoy home healthcare which is just as enjoyable one on one private care I'm able to apply many things that I've learned over the years which helps me and the client in daily activities I have extensive nursing training there is no situation that I have not yet experienced I enjoy being a part of the healthcare field. When my mother took ill I was able to take care of her and know exactly what the doctors were talking about that was a huge achievement to be able to be supportive and stand firm on my mother's wants and needs.

What makes me a great caregiver is my heart and passion and patience to want to help people that are sick or may not necessarily be able to do everything thereself and need a helping hand. I'm very nurturing, reliable, and a responsible caregiver and I love what I do and love having the ability to help others. I am a licensed stna certified in CPR and first aid as well have over 10+ years of experience caring for individuals with disabilities, seniors, children with disabilities and also catheter care, j-tube/g-tube care, als,cancer recipients, cerbal palsey, medicine administration/reminders, incontinent care and Hospitalization.
