I am a mother of 4 (lord do they keep me busy) I love being a caregiver. I've been a CNA for 10 years now and I admire elderly people. I realized that this was my career choice once I sat and held many elderly hands and became their family. The bonds are sometimes short lived but they are worth it. I'm a talker and I love laughing. I can't go a day without making someone else smile, no matter how I'm feeling. I am the live definition of a people person.!

What makes me a good caregiver is empathy and a caring heart. What attracted me to caregiving was a need for a compassionate caregiver for a family member of my own and what a difference it made in a difficult situation. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people/ families it connects me to others and their gratitude is so rewarding it lets me know I'm doing the right thing. My personal achievement that I am proud of is being a loving mother and wife to my family. I am patient, kind, dependable, and trustworthy.

I am 25, going on 26 years old, I have a very old soul & I'm a social butterfly! & what helps me take care of my clients the best is the fact that I treat EVERY ELDERLY PERSON THAT I WORK FOR, as if they're my own grandmother or grandfather!! What attracted me to caregiving was taking care of my paralyzed great aunt at 16 & feeling like I was finally useful, like I finally had a purpose... I felt it was my calling.... what I enjoy most about caregiving, is the fact that I'm helping someone else live their best life for the rest of their days! I enjoy feeling useful and/or needed My biggest achievements are my two very beautiful children..... everything that I do, is out of love for my children.... I had the best example.. my grandmother has been taking care of elderly in her home for over 40 years so she taught me everything that I needed to do this job I feel like God gave me this calling.
