I've been in the medical field for over 14 years as a medical assistant, Dialysis technician and an EMT. I've worked with medically fragile children, the elderly and renal failure patients. I have always felt a calling and a passion for caregiving. I have over 15 years of experience providing compassionate care in Skilled and private homecare settings. I am a single mother and student at UMGC. Currently working towards a bachelor's degree in Gerontology and Aging Services and a minor in Psychology, and proudly graduating in December of 2024! From there, I plan to work towards a master's degree in Occupational Therapy. I moved from California to Virginia and have not attended school here. I do have a valid with very good clean driving record DL and a CPR training if need it and I am well trained when doing safe transfers. I am working in a hospital .8 was hired to be clear; but I want to work more.
