I became a caregiver because I love to serve and help the needy. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. I am full of joy, I love to sing, read them poems and sometimes we dance together. I love to dress them up. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me. I am a great companion on my one -one cases because I love to be fulfilled at work too.

I became a caregiver for a few reasons. First reason was to peruse my dream of becoming a nurse and secondly because helping others truly is my passion and working with others brings me joy. What I like about being a caregiver is when I can make someone else’s day just a little bit brighter and even easier. This is an accomplishment that I can achieve again and again. Along with this my biggest achievement was being accepting into Metropolitan State University’s Nursing program. This was a goal that seemed very hard to reach but with determination and hard work I was able to prove to myself that I can do anything that I set my mind to. I currently live in Minnetonka MN, with my beloved husband and our joyful kitten Leo. I am on track to graduate with my Nursing degree in 2016.

I have a good communication skills;and I get along with people very well .This had made me an excellent team player at all jobs I have had.I have a caring attitude skills.I have always loved to take care of people since my childhood days. Seeing so many people without care inspired me to pursue a career devoted to caring for others. I always hope to make all residents feel a little more comfortable at home and very well cared for. Due to my past experience in the job I know I have the ability to work long hours and multitask without loosing my energy or positive attitude. This made me to be among the best three caregivers at my company.

I became a caregiver because as a young child I cared for my ailing grandma not knowing I was actually being a caregiver, but I was always and still passionate about caring for others that can't unfortunately take care of themselves. The proudest thing I had ever accomplished as a caregiver is getting a woman that never fed herself, she wouldn't even try to do so, I knew she could and I let her know that she could and if she spilled that it was okay. When she began to eat on her own with just a little guidance the whole staff looked at me like what do I have that they didn't. I looked at them like if you show that you truly care clients knows and feel that and they are willing to try, verses feeling like they're being thrown away in a since. I like for my clients not to only know that I truly care about their well being, but also feel it.
