As a student nurse I have learned how to take care of my patients in a caring and dignified manner. I really enjoy helping and taking care of people who are in need and can't do for themselves. I believe I am a great personal care assistant because I am a natural loving and nurturing person and I choose to give the type of care that I would want for myself and for my own mom or dad. By doing so I have received positive feedback and gratitude for my services which has boosted my determination and drive to graduate and become a great nurse one day in the near future. Working as a personal care assistant provides a truly humbling and fulfilling experience.

I've been an aide for 16 years. I absolutely love working with the elderly. It's been a passion of mine for a very long time. I'm very happy and talkative and my residents love that.

I was raised by my grandmother. I lived with her until her health declined and she passed away. I loved her dearly. I think that's where my journey to becoming a CNA started. I have always loved our older generation. Nothing brings me more joy than loving them, taking care of them, and simply having a warm conversation. They are the reason why we are here. They nurtured and provided for us when we needed them. It's only right that we do the same for them. I'm very compassionate about what I do. I don't take it lightly. I always go beyond what is expected of me and it's all out of compassion.

I am an experienced caregiver with compassion and respect for the elderly and disabled. I treat all patients with care and dignity as I would want someone to treat me and my loved ones the same way. I am honest, dependable, reliable, and respectful. I am very experienced with a number of things and I have excellent references as I have cared for our first lady Lt Governor and her sister for many years. I will treat your loved one and their property with the utmost respect and care. I am knowledgeable in a lot of different fields and I am also trained in hoya lifts and other equipment.

I am genuinely compassionate for those I care for. I love to care for others. My purpose in life is to be of service to others and being a caregiver allows me to walk in my purpose. Caregiving is my calling. I have been assisting those in need even before I obtained a professional title to do so. I enjoy seeing the power of God manifest through the sick and turn tragic situations in health into unbelievable miracles. I am personally proud of the fact that I'm still able to help change lives just by the act of kindness and caring for a total stranger with love.

I am very passionate about helping those that need an extra hand. I have worked hands on in the medical field since i graduated high school in 2011. I went to school for pharmacy technician and medical assisting. I am well versed in medicine and helping those in need. I have had many medical issues myself as a child, and I had many experiences that weren't very positive. If i can make a difference to just one person- then I know I did my job correctly.

I became a caregiver completely by accident, but for sure not an accident. My neighbor, who I had yet to meet, asked me over to meet with her and her brother. Apparently, her brother had a crush on me and she needed someone to sit with him during the day. That was a 3 year friendship even after they moved out of state. From then until now, I've been a constant caregiver. I've cared for my own family members, my friend's family members and for strangers who became family members. I've worked in assisted living facilities, nursing homes and private in home care. Private in home care is my choice over anything, because I know that my person will have all the attention and care they need. The one thing I ask other caregivers who are just starting out in this line of work is, what kind of relationship do you have with your parents and/or grandparents? If there is no relationship with their own family, there is no way they can ever give the kind of care someone else's parents or grandparents need. I go into each person's home and give the kind of attention and care I would expect a caregiver to give my own family member. You have to have the right mentality to do this line of work and I know for certain I've got that!

* I'm very compassionate. I'm always helping even if I know that I need the most help I never turn anyone down who needs a helping hand. I truly understand what it's like to need to help. I want to treat people as if they were my grandparents or parents that I'm caring for. *The thing that attracts me to wanting to b a caregiver is knowing that I could be a great help to someone in need of assistance. I love being to put a smile on someone's face. * Being a big help mostly. Being able to care for someone and being able to encourage them. *Finally puttin my self back into a learning environment. Pushing my self to go back to school to become an LPN.
