My name is Joyce, I came into this profession because my mother was a caregiver when I was young. I watch her and how she enjoyed helping others. As I grew and went on my on I tried several different jobs, but none have brought me satisfication than helping others. In 2008 is when I started my life long journey of taking care of others. I started with my parents, stayed with them full time until they laid down to rest. After 2013 my mom fell asleep in death and I went back to school and started my career in caregiving. Now I have a son and it helps me to set an example for him, because he watches me being kind and helpful to other.

I am also very empathetic, patient, enthusiastic, and extremely reliable. My grandmother has been a caregiver to 2 families for the past 30 years. She's raised their kids and I grew up watching her and seeing how fulfilled she was by caring for the family and that immediately sparked my interest. I also love to help people. Seeing people in pain or distress makes me want to do whatever necessary to alleviate that pain. Which is essentially the thing I most enjoy about being a caregiver, helping those who can not help themselves. It's very rewarding at the end of the day.
