Hello & I hope you're doing well. My name is Mare & I was born and raised in Charlotte North Carolina. My interest in care giving began in 1982 when I gave birth to my daughter. Tiffany was born @ CMC w/ no right kidney & only a piece of a left kidney. That's when my caregiving actually began, however I had always wanted to be a nurse. Tiffany had several episodes of heart failure, as well as many seizures. I took the opportunity to learn as much as possible in order to help her in every way I could. Tiffany and I were referred to The Children's Hospital of Alabama where I was taught how to perform peritoneal dialysis. I treated her with paritoneal dialysis in my home for approximately one year. At that time, doctors decided she had to have a transplant. At 18 months, Tiffany was given one of my kidneys. She was put on a great deal of medications and there was a lot of care given to her over her lifespan of 28 years. After Tiffany's passing, I followed my interest in caregiving by working at a hospital as well as an assisted living company. I am a very friendly, patient & caring person who has been taught how to deescalate issues if they arise. I'm also a great listener which makes me believe I am a great companion for those who need it. I would enjoy meeting you and your loved one to see if I can help with their care. I became a caregiver, when I got Cancer at 13 and the caregivers pushed mt to fight,and I did,and that is why I am alive, As a caregiver I give all my patients hope,and encouragement to fight!!!My most proud moment as a caregiver was a Good Samaritan Law situation. A 23 year old man fell down from jogging on the beach ,and had a massive HEART ATTACK AND I KNEW I HAD TO MOVE FAST!!!i BEGAN CPR AND WHEN EMS ARRIVED HE HAD A PULSE AGAIN!!!

I'm very outgoing, happy, energetic. I love helping other people u and what life brought them along the way. I love making peoples lives easier by cleaning up or making meals or just listening and being there as a companion with a plus!!

Caregiving is something that has always come naturally to me. I started at the age of 11, visiting with residents in nursing homes , and now I work with individuals that prefer to stay in their own homes in the end of life. I have experience with alzhimers/dementia, diabetes, oxygen tanks, medication administration and cathaters. Grooming is my specialty and cleanliness is key. I treat my patients with kindness and respect just like with my own family. Keeping my patients happy, healthy, and comfortable is important to me. I am highly recommend by adult services for the elderly as well as hospice. I have wonderful references that can be provided by family, friends, and neighbors of my previous patients. With over 12 years of private duty caregiving under my belt, I have gained the knowledge needed to give eceptional care to your loved ones.

I am 30 years old, I have been working as a cna since 2011. I enjoy my line of work because I love working with elderly and I've worked long term care since I was certified. The residents become family I treat them just as I would want my loved ones treated. I find this job very important and it's very important to be on time and dependable so their isn't any mishaps with the care your loved one needs.

Hello my name is Amy Harrison. I am an RBT and currently reside in Salisbury, NC. I am currently working towards my PhD in Education. I just finished my nurse aide class at Rowan-Cabarrus Community College with an A average. I received my Masters of Education degree in 2021 with a specialization in early childhood education. Since 2014 I have held numerous roles working with children and the elderly. These roles have ranged from after school counselor/site director, lead teacher, behavior technician, online ESL teacher, Direct Support Professional, Home Health Aide, Temporary Nurse Aide, Care Pro, Care Manager, Care Associate and Nurse Aide. I am looking forward to being a part of the team.
