I became a caregiver because I was able to take care of my sick mother home for 4 years until it turned into Hospice care at my home. I have been working in healthcare since I was 19 years old. I worked at my local hospital for about 12 years and in that time, I learned how to do many different jobs and was always open to learning more. I quickly found that this was what I was meant to do and I was naturally good at it, and it made me feel good to know that I was doing what I was meant to do.
