What makes me a great caregiver is that I pay attention to details. I do exactly what I'm told, asked and also give advice according to my expertise and I tell the truth about what is needed when it matters. I first started working with elders within my monastery taking care of their basic needs and taking them back and forth to doctor's appointments and following their doctors care of plan. That transmitted to my professional work life as a certified nursing aide, as I work in the nursing homes and also in private home settings. It brings me joy to see those who are in need of help receive the assistance that they need without taking away their dignity and also giving them the extra help that's necessary.... at the same time allowing them to do what they can for themselves. I have a broad range going from helping those with terminal illnesses all the way to those who just need extra assistance around the house. There is no job too big or too small for me to do.

I have been a caregiver for 20+ years in various settings. I worked for hospice for 11yrs and decided to go out on my own to give the best individualized care to the people I help. I am married have 3 children and have a beautiful home in a country setting. I am respectful, honest, dependable and have excellent references.

I love spending extra time with the patient to connect with them and make them feel taken care of. My main concern is making the patient feel happy and provide them with a positive outlook. I am calm caring, and professional. I love what I do and look forward to my time spent with my patients.

From the time I was 14 years of age, I have been a caregiver. My brother was in a horrific car accident that left him paralyzed. I learned quickly how to care for him. After he regained some semblance of his life back he retreated towards drug use. I sat with him through withdraws and recovery. Now 33 years later he is still clean. I have been a CNA,HHA,PCA, office personnel, a farm manger, a part of construction crews, and a HVAC Technician. I have met many people with different abilities, both intellectual and physical. With that said I am able to relate to many different types of people. I come from a long line of farmers and military and respect both professions to the highest degree.
